I’m Britt, a product design engineer with a big heart for the planet, a creative mind for problem-solving, and an energy that people often call contagious. My journey started in the Netherlands, where I studied Industrial Product Design and Engineering. Growing up in a family of engineers, I learned early on to build, explore, and question how things work, but I’ve always paired that technical curiosity with creativity and a strong sense of purpose.
During my studies, I became increasingly aware of the impact of design on people and the environment. That’s when sustainability moved from a personal choice to a professional mission. I pursued a Master’s in Circular Economy and Sustainable Innovation in France to turn that passion into expertise. This international experience not only sharpened my knowledge but also strengthened my adaptability, communication skills, and love for cross-cultural collaboration.
I thrive in hands-on environments, working on real-world challenges that connect user needs, technical feasibility, and environmental responsibility. I’m at my best when I can dive deep into a project, co-create with others, and go the extra mile to make an idea come to life, whether that means prototyping a new concept, coordinating stakeholders across continents, or simply learning something I don’t know yet.
What motivates me? Creating high-quality, low-impact products that make a difference and being part of teams that care just as much as I do. My background may be technical, but my drive is deeply human: I want to contribute to a more sustainable future, with integrity, creativity, and joy.
